Day +193

I am fine today.

My wife cooked very delicious Hainan Chicken Rice for dinner today using the organic kampung chicken that I purchased a few days ago. Five adults and two children managed to finish the 2kg chicken.

A photo of the chicken rice :-) Click to get a larger view.

See you next post :-)

Dear David,

Manage to catch up with all your postings today. As i read on, with so much thankgiving and praises to our Lord! How lucky we are to have such a wonderful GOD, that given His children hope and patience in time of suffering!

Despite the busy/noisy endless house chores, i know you are enjoying the time you spend with your loved one. With all the good food, you make me feel hungry right now....

Just finished my lunch, and continue....My brother in Jelebu sent me about 11 kampong chicken last night for me to make chicken essence. These chicken definately pass all your text that you mentioned before. I shall send one to your family so that more people can enjoy it instead of just myself.

Philip Yancey, the author of "where's God when it hurts?" ever said, "sickness before death is a very appropriatte thing and i think those who don't have it miss one of God's mercies." In time of difficulties the feeling came so true. It is only at this time, i seriusly think of what exactly i want in life. Smooth career path- sucess is always distract my focus of life. We tend to be so comfortable that make us take a lot of things in life for granted.

By the way, on the account overdrawn incident, you should have work on a "cash book" to manage/record your cash/bank balance. It is just a simple recording using Excel, with this in place, no way should the last incident repeat. If you are interested, just like me know:)

warmest regards,
Grace

Dear Grace,

I am very glad to hear from you online again. I believe we share lots of common experiences.

Yes, God is great! Without Him, I know no other way to go through ordeal like this in life.

Wow! 11 kampong chickens just for you alone? My nieces brought 4 kampong chickens from Sarawak a few days ago, so I still have some. I think you should keep the chicken for yourself :-) It takes many chickens to make just a little bit of essense, right?

Yes, sickness makes us appreciate so many things that we would take it for granted while wer are healthy.

Your advise to create an excel document to manage the account is very good. I will do it and displined myself to keep it up to date :-)

I pray that you will gain full strength very soon.

Take care and God bless.

David
