Day +2664 : First day not need to go to seminary

I am fine today.

I have to go to the seminary to attend class every Tuesday in the early morning. Since I completed my last class last week, I do not need to go to seminary today.

However, I still have to complete two book reviews, one paper and Bible Journal for almost the whole of New Testament :-(

I hope I can finish all these assignments in the next few day.

See you next post :-)

Day +2663 : A PCAC Potluck Dinner

I am fine today.

My church in Puchong held a potluck dinner yesterday evening. More than twenty cell group leaders, pastors and also cell group facilitators attended the dinner. We had some fellowship and discussion after the dinner.

I was so busy taking photos of the dishes until I forgot to take any human photo :-(  So in this post I can only post photos of home cooked delicacies for you.

Day +2662 : Lunch at Restoran Yi Pin (一品盐炬鸡)

I am fine today.

I purchased 8 livingsocial vouchers to dine at Restoran Yi Pin few weeks, each comes with a value of RM30 but I have to paid RM15 only. This is equivalent to 50% discount.

I brought my family to the restaurant for lunch today after the church service and spent three vouchers. The chicken was salted baked, so you have to be prepared that it would be salty, other than that, the food tasted quite nice.

After the lunch, I have another five vouchers to spend :-)

Day +2661 : Aaron and Old Town

I am fine today.

When Aaron heard that I brought Daniel and Joseph to do revision at Old Town, he requested me to bring him there as well. Adriel attends a violin lesson at a music school at Kinrara every Monday. Whenever I send her for lesson, I would have breakfast in a Old Town restaurant nearby while waiting for her. Last Monday, Aaron's school was having holiday. So I brought him and my wife along for breakfast while Adriel was attending the lesson.

Aaron selected his choice of breakfast, finished it and then asked me to go home even before Adriel finished her lesson. He promised to do some revision at Old Town but after having the breakfast, he forgot about the revision completely :-(

Day +2659 : An appreciation lunch (1)

I am fine today.

In an effort to show their appreciation to lecturers and staffs for their teaching and support over the past few years, the graduating students invited them for a simple lunch today. In order to save cost, we booked the lunch from the kitchen and then added on two more dishes - roasted duck and mushroom. We ordered the roasted duck from a restaurant but the mushroom was cooked by a graduating student.

We also presented a gift to every lecturer and staff. The gifts were specially designed by a church member and manufactured by brother William. I am the chairman for the committee which handle matters related to graduation, and one of our job to organize this appreciation lunch. I am very grateful to have a team of students who are creative and helpful, making the event a success :-)

Day +2658 : A celebration for completing the last class

I am fine today.

I completed the last class for the whole program this afternoon. I brought a few graduating students for a dinner to commemorate this "historical event" at Kedai Kopi Guan Lee at Rawang. We supposed to have dinner at Lan Je Restaurant (兰姐清蒸非洲鱼) at Rawang but it was not open for business today. So we had to look for a alternative restaurant nearby and ended up at Kedai Kopi Guan Lee.

The dishes here tasted not too bad but also not too delicious. However, we enjoyed the meal very much just because we don't need to attend any more classes :-)
