Day +2339 : Sarawak Holiday - Damai Puri Resort and Spa 2

I am fine today.

The children like beach very much. Aaron wanted me to go to the seaside almost immediately upon arriving Kuching. Though I advised him that we would only go to the beach the next day, he still insisted that we should go immediately with his popular demand - "I want to go now." To him, everything has to be "now". If he would like to eat KFC, McDonald or buy toys, it is difficult for us to delay his "demand".

The children went to the beach immediately upon reaching the resort, and then had fun there until sunset.

Day +2338 : Sarawak Holiday - Damai Puri Resort and Spa 1

I am fine today.

We went to Damai Puri Resort and Spa for a 3 days and 2 nights vacation with my eldest, second, and third sister and their family members the second day we arrived Kuching. There are many resorts at Santubong but Damai Puri Resort and Spa is the one who has the best beach front.

The journey from my sister's house at Tabuan Jaya to the resort took about half an hour drive only. If I were not mistaken, I visited the same resort during my last visit to Kuching 7 years ago, but I already forgot how to get there. The GPS running on my Galaxy Note did its job very well by bringing me the right place without  any glitches.

We found very few guests at the resort. Therefore, we should be given the rooms with best view - facing the adult pool and the beautiful beach :-) The sea view room rate is RM290 nett per night while the forest view is RM20 cheaper.

Nice beach view

The stretch of beach front is in fact very short, but I believe this is the best beach we have in Santubong

Day +2337 : Sarawak Holiday - Enjoy good food first

I am fine today.

We played badminton on the first day we arrived Kuching. My nephew, Min Hui, brought us to a commercial badminton court at Simpang Tiga, somewhere quite near to my sister's house. The rate was RM10 per non-peak hour and RM15 per peak hour. However, the court offers RM8 per hour for student during non-peak hour while the peak hour rate is fixed at RM15 per hour. As a seminary student, I was entitled for student rate :-) We played for two hours.

Before we went for the badminton session, we were treated with chicken soup and many other good food. We also attended a cell group meeting in the evening.

All delicious Kuching chicken

Baku from Bintangor - a type of fern, organic and delicious

Kuching prawn

Homemade Siew Mai

Adriel likes prawn very much :-)
