Day +1326 : A relaxing day at a hilly orchard - View

I am fine today.

A group of 26 children and adults from our church visited an orchard located at Bukit Tinggi, K. Kelawang, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan today.

The orchard is belonged to Mr. Woo who is practicing organic farming there. He purchased 100 acres of land there about 10 years ago and after retirement, worked enthusiastically on the land, put in infrastructure and developed it into an organic orchard. The land is divided into lots for sale. The current price is RM3.5 per square feet.

Mr. Woo’s vision is to create a relaxing and healthy environment for city people. Those who purchase the land can build a house there and then bring their family and friends there to enjoy a relaxing and healthy weekend, and at the same time foster a good relationship among the family members. Apart from this, city children will have a perfect environment to enjoy the beauty of the nature and of course, the delicious organic fruit and vegetable from the orchard :-)

Mr. Woo’s daughter – Wendy – is our church member. She arranged the trip for us.

It took us about 2 hours to reach there. We gathered at the church 9:00am and it was 9:00pm when we returned to the church.

All of us enjoy the trip very much.

My Innova carries 10 passengers including me :-) Adriel and Aaron clung to my wife and enjoyed a good sleep alone the way. One seat three person but my wife must have a difficult time.

The house - the top floor is the home for swallow. Swallow nest cultivation is a lucrative income. The raw nest is selling at more than RM4000 per kg and the processed nest is selling over RM10,000 per kg.
