I am fine today.
I am quite tired due to the flu. So I take a day off from work today.
In order to stop the flu and cough from progressing, I went to see Dr. Koh this afternoon. He prescribed me Erythromycin (antibiotic), flu medicine, cough syrup and also Panadol. He said that I had mild fever after measuring my body temperature, so the Panadol.
In fact I have plenty of Erythromycin at home which was prescribed by a lung specialist in UH as a treatment to Bronchiolitis obliteran (BO), but I stopped taking it as later investigation showed no evidence of BO.
I am expecting Doctor to prescribe me Augmentine but doctor said that I should try the less powerful Erythromycin first. The reason is that the flu is not that serious. We should reserve the more power “weapon” for a condition that is worse than this.
Hopefully, Erythromycin will be sufficient this time.
See you next post :-)

Dear David
When you get better from the flu, spend regular fixed time to do "moderate/fast walking" daily at the park near to your house. 30 - 45 minutes will be sufficient.
