Telekom is offering a package called Streamyx Combo Wifi@Home! The package includes Streamyx (Telekom broadband service) and TM HomeLine rental.
The rate of the package is as follow:
This Streamyx Combo package is cheaper than subscribing Streamyx and the TM HomeLine separately. Take 1Mbps Streamyx package under normal subscription plan for example, we need to pay a monthly fee of RM99 (with modem) for Streamyx and RM26 for TM HomeLine rental. This makes a total monthly fee of RM125 excluding the voice call charges. The equivalent Streamyx Combo packages cost RM110 per month only :-)
The Streamyx Combo comes with very attractive offerings.
Based on the above offering, if we add on RM10 per month, then we are entitled to have unlimited call to TM Fixed line nationwide. However, this offering was expired for existing Telekom Streamyx customer on 30 June,2009. This means that you can convert your existing Streamyx package to Streamyx Combo, but you are not entitled to have the RM10 Add Voice service. But you are still entitled to have RM20 Add-Voice service. The RM10 and RM20 Add Voice service are the same except that call to mobile phone is 5 cents cheaper for RM20 packages and on top of that, the RM20 Add Voice service also comes with 1 or 2 hours free call to mobile phone if I were not mistaken.
I converted Streamyx Combo 1Mbps Streamyx package and subscribed to RM10 Add Voice service. This makes a monthly fee of RM120 only.This is cheaper than the RM125 normal plan, but with unlimited call to TM Fixed line :-)
If you need to call me for a long chat, just ask me to return a call to you, then we can chat 24 hours a day without needing to add a single cent :-)

Singapore here, a lot of people now go for 15Mbps already...i am quite shock when they have 15Mbps for home user... and they technology ..wow...
3 service provider here, singtel using normal phone line to connect with internet, M1 using mobile modem and starhub use tv cable to connect to internet...well i don't know how it work but a lot of people go for tv cable as they can watch addition tv channel and online at the same time. And the worst part here is.. everybody if you have internet at home, normally watch tv through internet.. @_@|||
Hearing this, temptation to migrate building up!
