I am fine today.
I started to take antibiotic again starting from Friday evening. The fever still came back but after a longer duration.
I would like to see a private doctor but found out that no clinic in Sibu, including Rejang Specialist Centre, dared to see me :-( When I told them I was back from KL two days ago and I had flu, fever, and cough, they were “scared to death” (怕死了).
“You better go to hospital,” was the answer.
This is the power of A(H1N1)! It is very effective in killing the "appetite" for money ":-)
In most circumstances, the clinic will accept any cases, whether they have confident to treat, as long as you have money. If in the end they messed up everything, only then they will refer you to government hospital.
So we cancelled our plan to see any doctors. If my condition get worse, the only option was to be admitted into Sibu Hospital.
Fortunately, the fever didn't come back anymore, and I also felt a little bit better. So I just give myself a good rest so that I gain enough strength to return to KL.
