Our church member, William, invited me and my wife for another river fish dinner last night. He went fishing a day earlier, and the catch was too many that he couldn’t finish it on the same day. As a consequence, we were all blessed :-) Together with us were William’s wife, his daughter-in-law, Rev Lau and Mrs. Lau, Pastor Tan and Mrs. Tan, and our guest from Hong Kong, Alex Chow.
Instead of having dinner at Kee Tek (记得) Restaurant, we had it at Hiing Fatt (兴发广式饭店) Restaurant situated not far away from Kee Tek Restaurant. William said that the chief cook of Kee Tek Restaurant had left, and the new one didn’t cook dishes as delicious as the old one.
Apart from the fresh water fishes, William also ordered a few other dishes. I enjoyed the dinner very much. Enjoying good food is really a great blessing!
Hiing Fatt Restaurant
Fried snakehead fish
Its bone for soup
Steamed snakehead fish
Steamed Tilapia
Tom Yam Tilapia
Spare ribs
Not yam in a basket, but Toufu in a basket :-)
Long bean
Choy Sum(菜心)
See you next post :-)
