Day +1093 : Dangerous is not the swine, but delicious it is

I am fine today.

The new university session is going to start next week. My three nieces who are pursuing a course in the local universities came over here again after enjoying a long break in Sarawak. Two of them, Nga Ming and Siew Ling, stopped over at my house for a few days before proceeding to their respective universities. But Hui Na went to his university directly, and she will be only visiting us during the weekend.

We treated them a Bak Ku Teh dinner at Restoran Bak Ku Teh Klang Yip Weng - 吧生叶詠(干)肉骨茶,at Bandar Puteri Puchong last night.

Apart from serving the standard Bak Ku Teh that comes with plenty of soup, the restaurant also serves dry Bak Ku Teh. We ordered both, and like both.

The Bak Ku Teh here is delicious but one thing you need to be aware is that it is very heavily tasted; definitely not something that you can consume too much. My wife said, “tak boleh tahan” which mean she can’t stand the taste.

If you enjoy heavily tasted food, this restaurant is best for you.

Seeing from the following pictures, you would surely agree with me that the swine is not dangerous as pronounced by our Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, it is delicious :-)

The restaurant
Promotion set. We took the one for 6-8 person and add one single-portion Bak Ku Teh. Total cost of the meal for 10 person including the children was RM62 only :-)
Group photo - the left most one on the back row is Siew Ling (my second brother's daughter), and next to her is Nga Ming (my second sister's daugther). Next to me is Ming Hui (my eldest sister's son), he is pursuing a master degree in Mathematics in Universiti Malaya.

The chilli padi and garlic with soya sauce, but with the abundant taste of the Bak Ku Teh, this one is really not needed.
