I get to know a Leukaemia patient in Hong Kong through a short term missionary team member. Since then we have been in touch.
He went through a very difficult chemotherapy treatment and now he is in the process of bone marrow transplant - experiencing something that I went through more than 4 years ago. And I believe his transplant procedure is even more challenging that mine as he is doing a non-related transplant in which the donor is not his sibling.
His name is Yip Chan Yu. You can visit his transplant blog at http://octomato.blogspot.com/ and also his facebook at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=567854727. You are encouraged to drop a few words of encouragement on his blog or facebook.
Today is his Day 0. Please pray that peace and hope from our Lord Jesus always be with him and his family, and by God's abundant grace and mercy, he will be healed completely.
See you next post :-)
