Doctor "accidentally " discovered that my mother-in-law is having hypertension - 180/90 - about a month ago while I brought her to the clinic due to foot injury.
She was prescribed anti-hypertension medicine but reading remains 180/90 after one month. We found out that she didn't take the medicine everyday and she also took the medicine in the evening rather than morning.
Doctor advised her to take the medicine in the morning and will measure her blood pressure in one month. If the reading remain, stronger medicine is needed.
My mother-in-law is very thin and she exercises more than anyone of us, walking from home to IOI mall everyday; sometimes more than one trip per day. However, this doesn't free her from hypertension. So it is very likely this is a hereditary issue :-(
See you next post :-)

Hope the medicine works for your mother-in-law! Wow, she really can walk far. How does she cross the busy LDP road?
Using the pedestrian bridge that cross over LDP linking Bandar Puchong Jaya to IOI mall car park :-)
