Day +1593 : Google Chrome is the best!

I am fine today.

I wonder which web browser you are using. I have been using Google Chrome for a long time, partially due to the fact that I use a lot of Google collaboration tools such as Google documents, email and calendar. Apart from that, it is really good - fast and easy to use.

If you are still not convinced with what I said, then the following test should convince you that it is time to switch to Google Chrome if you are still using other web browser.

HTML5 is the next major version of the HTML standard and this version comes with features like video playback and drag-and-drop that have been previously dependent on third-party browser plug-ins such as Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight. Though the standard is still under development, many browsers have started to implement the standard.

There is a website - http://html5test.com/ - that allows us to test how far a browser has implemented the html5 standard. You just need to point the browser to the website and a score will be displayed. The higher the score, the better the browser support the new standard.

Out of a total of 300 points, Google Chrome scores 231, Firefox 139 and Internet Explorer 27 only.

With this, we can conclude that Google Chrome is the best, at least in term of html5 support. If you haven't switch to Google Chrome, why not give it a try?

Google Chrome 8.0
Firefox 3.6
Internet Explorer 8
See you next post :-)
