I am fine today.
My niece Nga Ming is studying in Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM).
After the church service this morning, someone dropped her at a bus stop which is a very short distance away from her hostel. While she was walking toward her hostel, two thieves riding a motorcycle robbed her handbag.
This is the first time she has fallen victim to snatch theft. She was very frightened and cried very loud. Someone informed the police and they came to fetch her to police station to lodge a report.
Inside the hand bag were her identity card, driving license, ATM card, bank books and two hand phones. But it is very lucky that she was not hurt physically. May be she let go her handbag easily. Police told her an incident where the victim was seriously injured and was hospitalized for two months.
We still give thank to God for His protection upon my niece, at least physically. We really hope that the government can do more to restore public security and order, not busy playing those disgusting political games.
See you next post :-)
