I am fine today.
Our washing machine broke down again last Friday. It broke down about 3 months ago and I spent RM298 to repair it. This equivalent to a maintenance fee of RM100 per month :-(
I decided not to repair it anymore this time, anticipating that it will break down again very soon. Furthermore, we really need a bigger washing as we have more members in the family than before. In addition to this, my nephews who are staying with us also need the service of the machine :-)
The old machine has a washing capacity of 6.5kg only. Very often, the amount of cloths that need to be washed in a day is more than this. Despite repeated advices, my mother-in-law and the maid would still fill the washing machine as full as possible, an amount beyond 6.5kg. At one point, we have to threaten the maid that if she keeps on doing this, she has to wash the cloths by hand.
We got a Samsung top loader machine, WA13UP on Sunday. The machine has a washing capacity of 11kg and it cost RM1500. ITt came with 5 years warranty. This will guarantee that it is usable at least for 60 months without additional cost. Dividing the purchasing price with 60 months, the cost per month is only RM25 :-) This is definitely cheaper than RM100.
This proves that I make a good decision :-) What do you think?

See you next post :-)
