Day +1175 : Taman KLCC (KLCC Park) (1)

I am fine today.

Today, we went to Taman KLCC 8:00am in the morning. We came here once a long time ago; before I was sick and before Aaron was born, if I were not mistaken.

There is a huge playground and also an interesting children pool here. The pool is opened from 10:00am to 7:30pm every day except Monday. If Monday is a public holiday, the pool will then be closed on the following day.

However, only children below 12 years old are allowed in the pool. So Daniel was disqualified, but anyway, he was not interested as the water was very shallow and there was no way for one to swim in the pool. This also means that the pool is very safe for the children.

The children played in the playground first, and became the first ones to be in the pool when it was opened at 10:00am.

After having an hour of fun in the pool, we proceed to have lunch at KFC in Suria KLCC.

After that we went to Kinokuniya Bookstore. My wife would like to look for some piano scores for her piano exam. However, we noticed that all the books in the bookstore are shrink-wrapped :-( This brings much inconvenience to book lovers as we have to approach the counter to unwrap the book to browse the contents before purchase. Perhaps the bookstore is flooded with too many book lovers that it came up with this no-browsing strategy to force them to leave earlier.

I love Popular Bookstore which generously provides places with comfortable seats for readers. This shows that it welcomes readers to read books there.

We reached home at about 1:30pm and we were very satisfied with the trip today :-)

A group photo
KLCC Convention Centre - we parked our car and walked to the KLCC Convention Centre to exit to the park. In fact, we could come out from Suria and go straight to the park :-(
In the park
What is Daniel looking at?
Mangrove trees?
Lake
Bridge
Dolphin and whale statues in the lake
The huge playground

Adriel is playing frenziedly
And now I am exhausted
Aaron is enjoying his ride
Joseph is having fun too
You see, I can swing without any effort.

Me too! Daniel is the engine:-)

To be continued and see you next post :-)

Dear david
I came to this same place on 25th August last month for the Book Fair. I did not notice the Taman.
It is really a nice place. It is good to bring kids outdoor and let them do exercise and sweat. There are so many great things to do in KL.

Dear Seu Chuong,

It is in front of Suria, after the fountain pool.

You should look for it next time.
