Day +1154 : Pangkor Trip – Sea View Hotel

I am fine today.

The 3-star hotel that we stayed is located on the beach. My wife and I together with the four children were assigned a big room with two single beds and one double bed. On top of that we were given two mattresses.

The owner of the hotel is Tan Yee Khan (陈贻权). He is a former Malaysian badminton player who represented Malaysia in badminton events around the world during the 1960's. In 1967 he was a member of Malaysia's world champion Thomas Cup (men's international) team. Wikipedia has an entry about him which you can access here.

He is a very friendly guy and came to meet us almost every meal. Someone told me that he even cook in the kitchen.

Hornbills - like to eat papaya. If you throw the papaya up, these Hornbills are skillful enough picking it up in the air using their large beak.
