Day +626 : An Easter potluck dinner (1)

I am fine today.

My family and I attended an Easter potluck dinner in the church tonight. There were about 150 children and adult attending the event. Apart from the visitors from Hong Kong, we managed to invite about 20 new friends to join us for the dinner :-)

The best meal that I ever enjoy is no other than the potluck dinner in our church. As usual, tonight we enjoyed countless mouth-watering dishes prepared by many “experts” in the church. If you like to eat, my church is definitely the right one for you to attend :-)

After the meal, the church showed a very touching movie. It presented a real tale about a 5 years boy who was diagnosed with Leukaemia. With the grace of God and the hope of eternal life as promised by Jesus, the boy and the family faced the ordeal with incomprehensible strength, braveness and peace.

The boy experienced a relapse after chemotherapy. Then he went for a bone marrow transplant, but he experienced another relapse 5 months later. Since he had just completed his bone marrow transplant, doctor could not do anything for him.

To be continued and see you next post :-)
