Day +2430 : Reformed theology and reformed kitchen

I am fine today.

It is impossible to study systematic theology without following the teaching of a particular school. And the school we all follow in Malaysia Bible Seminary (MBS), as most of you already know, is reformed theology based on mainly the theology of John Calvin. Recent strong advocates of this school in Malaysia include Dr. Stephen Tong (唐崇荣牧师) and Dr. Lee Keng An(李建安博士). Dr. Lee is former systematic theology lecturer of MBS and I am a student of Dr. Lee's student, Pastor Chiew Sze Sze (赵丝丝老师) :-)

During the course of study of reformed theology, we have to struggle with many issues in which the most difficult one is how to resolve the conflict between God's sovereignty and human responsibility. Together with the tough exams and essays, the subject of theology was not always an enjoyable one.

When the semester began this year, we were very glad to find out that the seminary employed a new cook, Auntie Irene, to prepare meal for us. Auntie Mary improved the management of the kitchen and prepared very nice food for us and I should say we have now a reformed kitchen.

Comparing reformed theology and reformed kitchen, I believe all us like reformed kitchen more :-)

An example of a reformed meal is as follow:

This soup is very nice :-)
We also get western food occasionally :-)

See you next post :-)
