Day +1264 : A baptism service

I am fine today.

Today, our church conducted a baptism service where we witnessed the most number of people getting baptized in a single service throughout the church history. There were 15 persons baptized into Christ Jesus, proclaiming that they are now His followers.

Each one of them was given 3 minutes to share their encountering with Jesus before the baptism. All of them were very happy and excited.

I was asked to prepare curry chicken for about 100 persons as lunch after the service. I purchased 6.5kg of chicken with 4kg of potatoes. My wife and I cooked the curry chicken at 11pm last night.

However, it was very unfortunate that by the time we had lunch at about 1:00pm, the curry chicken had already turned sour :-( Someone who ate the curry chicken commented that this curry chicken was a little bit special – with sour taste.

We recalled the dish immediately after discovering the problem but quite a lot had already eaten :-( By right, everyone should know that there is no sour curry chicken unless it turns bad.

A church member told us that normally the cooked food won’t last for 12 hours. Should we boiled it before, it won't turned sour. This is a lesson learned today.
