I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) December 2005 which required me to go through 4 cycles of chemotherapies and a peripheral blood stem cell transplant (PBSCT). This blog, started while I was doing transplant, gave a real life account of the transplant, other treatment experiences and also my life after transplant.
I am fine today.
I cough heavily and had fever starting Monday morning. I was so weak that I had difficulty rising from bed. So I was bedridden for the past few days. In addition to this, I have also lost all my appetite.
I started to take Augmentine since Monday and it was quite effective as the coughing reduced on Tuesday. But I still had fever and as weak as before.
Aaron also had fever on Tuesday.
The situation didn’t improve much today.
