Day +996 : Holiday at Tasik Kenyir (12)

I am fine today. Continued from yesterday…

We checked out at about 11:45am and left for Kenyir dam at 12:00pm. In order to visit the dam, we followed a longer route to Kuala Trengganu - one that passed by the dam. The boathouse operator arranged two cabs for us, with a agreed fared of RM100 per cab only.

However, the cab driver told us that they heard wrongly on the way. They thought that we wanted to go to “bank” rather than “dam”. That’s was why they only top up RM10 for such a long trip. Judging from the distant and time taken for the trip, we finally agreed to pay RM110, which I think still much underpaid. But anyway, we promised them that we would be using their service to go to airport in the evening which somehow compensates what they had lost.

After an hour journey, we reached the dam. The scenery at the dam was very beautiful too. However, we couldn’t stay there for too long as the weather was scorching hot. We took some photos in a hurry and then jumped into the cabs and headed for Kuala Trengganu.
