Day +986 : Holiday at Tasik Kenyir (2)

I am fine today. Continue from yesterday…

We would be staying on the houseboat for the first night. The rental of the houseboat with a capacity of 10 adults cost us RM800 per night. If we settled for a better houseboat that provides meals, the cost would be RM2400 per night. We didn’t take up this option as it was too costly for us.

The houseboat only arrived 30 minutes later and after some preparation work, we started our lake adventure at about 10:30am.

Our first stop was Lasir waterfall. We cooked and had our lunch on the way to the waterfall.

The houseboat was very slow. A 40 minutes express boat ride took it almost 2 hours to reach :-( However, we didn’t mind as we managed to appreciate the beauty of the lake and green nature while the boat maneuvered slowly to our destination.
