Day +987 : Holiday at Tasik Kenyir (3)

I am fine today. Continue from yesterday…

We reached Lasir waterfall at 12:20pm. The children couldn’t wait to swim in the lake. They jumped into the lake in no time, swimming and boating until 3:00pm. There was a small waterfall opposite where we parked the boat, but the one that attracted our attention was a big waterfall a little bit farther.

We followed the pedestrian pathway in the jungle leading to the big waterfall. It was a majestic fall! Huge volume of water rushing down from the mountain creating cascading showers of white foaming sprays of water. The mountain water was very cold and refreshing, but no one was prepared to swim there.

The children played at the rocky area, jumping from one rock to the other, catching tadpoles and other insects. We were quite worried they might slip and get hurt but there was no reason to stop them from having fun, right? Even Adriel became very brave and jumped like a boy.

Adriel in the lake - the arm float is too small to carry her weight, she has to be very careful as any big movement will submerge her under water
