Day +1049 : A BN self-inflicted checkmate

I am fine today.

BN decided not to contest in the Penanti by-election on May 31. The reason given for this great decision was so touching that it almost bring me to tears – artificial tears applied externally :-)

"BN's focus is on serving the people and reviving the nation's economy. Thus, we decided not to field a candidate," our dear Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak said.

From the above statement, we deduce that

  • Not contesting = serving people and reviving the nation’s economy
  • Contesting = not serving people and damaging the nation’s economy

If BN contest in the next general election, then we can conclude that they are not serving people and damaging the nation’s economy, we should not vote for them, and this means doomsday for BN.

If BN decided not to contest in the next general election in order to serve people and revive the nation’s economy, they will lose by default, and this means doomsday for BN too.

Therefore, either contest or not contest, the outcome is still doomsday.

I wonder how BN managed to figure out such a destructive reason - a self-inflicted checkmate - which only an idiot will believe.

See you next post :-)

The problem is, even BN decided not to go for the by-election, that doesn't put their focus back on "serving the people & reviving the nation's economy." Their fight for survival just did not stop @ Penanti!

Don't worry, most people have upgraded to at least dual cores technology, perhaps without BN's knowledge :-)

I think their focus is to intimidating the "learned" judges to give favourable judgement :-(
