Pastor Tan (郑仁法牧师) visited us today. He was our pastor in our home village Bintangor in the year of 1984 to 1986. He was very young that time and was very close to us. Since we always served and played together, he slept in our house very often :-)
Pastor Tan can sing very well. He conducted the choir and trained us to sing. Both Richard and I can sing quite well now mainly due to his training :-)
Pastor Tan didn't even pass his Form 3 but after he dedicated his life to Jesus, he studied very hard, and even managed to get his Bachelor of Theology in Malaysia Theological Seminary. He said he struggled through the course and he felt that it was a miracle that he managed it :-)
Pastor Tan was attending the 8th Chinese Congress on World Evangelization in Bali, Indonesia (第八届华福大会), and on the way back to Sibu, he dropped by Richard's house where we were having cell group. He will stay there overnight and be back to Sibu tomorrow morning.

This is the first time I meet him after I was diagnosed with Leukaemia. I am very glad to meet an old friend and pastor:-)
