Day +2345 : Sarawak Holiday - Kuching Kueh Chap

I am fine today.

Kueh Chap (粿什) is a kind of dish that is available in Kuching only. There is one Kueh Chap shop within working distance from my sister's house, and went to the shop for dinner on the day we came back from Damai Puri Resort.

Kueh Chap is made up of pork, egg, bean curd, pork bellies, chitterlings in special black herbal soup, something like Bak Kut Teh. The default serving mode is to have Kueh Teow in the soup, but there is a choice to eat it with rice instead of Kueh Teow.

As it is the first time we had this dish, we are still not used to the taste. Anyway, it is a good try :-)
