After that, we headed to somewhere near Pulau Singa to see eagle feeding. There were a lot of eagles flying around, descending and touching the water, and ascended rapidly to the sky again. These eagles were normally resting on the trees on the island, and they flew toward the boats when they see them, hoping that the boatmen will give them chicken to eat :-) One thing to take note is that we never set foot on Pulau Singa.
The eagles Another view
The last stop was Pulau Beras Basah, or Wet Rice Island. The main attractions on this island are the beach, swimming, sunbathing and relaxation. We were given one hour on this island too. Some tourists who didn’t prepare for swimming ended up swimming too :-)
There is a resort on the island but it seemed that no one was staying there The Beras Basah Beach
My wife :-)
We had dinner at Lucky Seafood Restaurant at Cenang Beach. The food there was quite expensive. However, one good thing was that all prices were clearly stated on the menu.
The restaurant
Kangkong again - not well cooked and not cleaned properly as my wife and I felt like eating sand
Sweet-sour chicken chop - very hard
Claypot beancurd - taste quite good, but where is the claypot?
To be continued and see you next post :-)
