I am fine today.

The church committee members had a farewell dinner with Gloria Ng at Cheong Wah Seafood Restaurant today. She will be going back to Hong Kong tomorrow. His mother church sent a church committee, Kayan Lo, here to help her to do the packing and accompany her to Hong Kong.

Day +1849 : Confirmation interview

I am fine today.

All first semester students of the seminary are considered temporary students. If a student didn't performance well in the semester, he or she will be either kicked out or getting his or her confirmation delayed.

I attended an half an hour confirmation interview last Tuesday. It went smoothly, and I believe I will be confirmed very soon. I am expecting a salary hike now :-)

Day +1848 : Do you see the fire?

I am fine today.

The Bayan Hill in front of my house was on fire this evening. The children were very excited to see the fire. I gave me an emergency call from home. Aaron took over the phone and pleaded me to go home immediately. We were on the phone for almost 20 minutes.

"Do you see the fire?" he asked.

"I don't. I am at the college," I told him.

"Please come back immediately!" he shouted.

"We all are going to die. Later no more Bayan. Please come back!"

"I will go back tomorrow," I said.

"Tomorrow you cannot smell the smoke," he argued.

"Who sent you there? Ask them to send you back!" he pleaded again.

Day +1847 : Morning prayer meeting

I am fine today.

Boarding students have to attend morning prayer meeting each Wednesday at 6:30am. Students take turn to lead the worship and sharing in the meeting.

My roommate, Kah Kiong, led the worship for the first time while I played guitar for him, also for the first time :-)

Day +1846 : First time ever eating D28

I am fine today.

A church co-worker, Gloria Ng, had difficulty in renewing her student visa. She went back to Hong Kong a few weeks ago while the seminary worked hard to renew her visa. Sadly, the attempt failed, and she has to leave us for good.

She came back last week to pack her belongings. She also take this opportunity to come to the seminary this morning to sit for the exams of some of the subjects she took last semester. As she is going to sit for her last paper tomorrow morning, she decided to stay overnight in the seminary . I brought her for durian at Kuang night market this evening :-)
