Day +2104 : Seminary CG Outing at Bukit Tinggi - 7

I am fine today.

Our lecturer treated us a very delicious lunch at Leong Chee Hoong Restaurant at Bentong Bukit Tinggi. The restaurant is specialising in fresh water fishes.

Extra care needs to be exercised while ordering the fish as the price can go up to RM500 per kg. However, the price of Tilapia (非洲鱼) is RM28 per kg only, something cheaper than Puchong.

The fishes available here

Note the price of Empurau (忘不了) is RM50 per 100g, which means RM500 per kg. Rev. Lau once told me that the price of this fish can go up to more than a thousand ringgit a kg in Sarawak.

Empurau - the king of the fishes?

Salted fish pork

Mushroom

Tilapia

Udang Galah (Big headed prawn or 大头虾) with glass noodles (冬粉) in a soup of wine. Very nice! The price: 3 prawn cost RM70. The prawns were divided into halves, so each one take a half :-)

With this big and delicious prawn, I shall conclude my posting on the trip. Now I am thinking of bring my precious wife and the children to visit the place and enjoy the nice food :-)

See you next post :-)
