The journey from Resorts World Kijal to Kuala Terengganu cover a distance of 140km along the coastal road. It took us two and half hours to complete the journey. We passed by Petronas Kertih Refinery and saw some notable structure of a oil refinery - flare stacks, tanks and pipes.
Though we passed by a lot of beaches along the way, we didn't stop as we were very focused on our destination. Again, we saw a lot of nice village views, something which we won't see in KL.
We visited the big market in Kuala Terengganu immediately after checking in to KT Beach resort, the place that we would stay for one night. It is near the Shahbandar jetty which we would board the ferry the next morning.
