Day +2647 : Lian Seng & Siow Ying's Wedding (1)

I am fine today.

Brother Lian Seng and sister Siow Ying got married on 14 September. This was the fourth wedding ceremony held in our church throughout our church history :-)

May God bless their marriage richly!

Day +2646: A cell group lunch at Restoran Kepong KongKee (甲洞光记烧鸭饭店)

I am fine today.

My seminary cell group went for a lunch at Restoran Kepong KongKee (甲洞光记烧鸭饭店) at Rawang on 10 September. It was a birthday celebration for those members whose birthday fall onto the second half of the year. The restaurant served very nice roasted duck and pork.

Day +2645: Dinner with my brother-in-law, Robert Chieng

I am fine today.

My brother-in-law (my wife's brother), Robert Chieng, came here to take care of my mother-in-law in the hospital. We had a dinner at Restoran Harmony Banquet (温馨楼) which is the former Cheong Wah Seafood Restaurant (中华海鲜酒楼) the day I came back from Laos (31 August(

The restaurant served quite delicious dishes, but it is a lot more expensive than Cheong Wah Seafood Restaurant. A meal for eight person cost me RM330 :-( Anyway, I was still happy spending as whatever happened - my mother-in-law was discharged and complete the trip successfully - really deserved a celebration.

Robert insisted that he needed to go back the next day which was on Sunday. I purchased a MAS ticket for him. I was surprised to find out that I mistakenly purchased a ticket for the following day :-( I discussed with him if he could go back one day later. He insisted that he should go back the next day. In the end, I bought another ticket for him, losing about RM140 in the process :-(

Day +2644: Oversea Trip - Home sweet home

I am fine today.

I reached home in the afternoon of our National Day, flying from Vientiane to KLIA on a Airasia flight. Though there were lots of problem that seemed to prevent me to proceed with the trip, I managed to complete it. I enjoyed and learned a lot from this trip. I wish I could one day bring my wife and children for the trip :-)

My mother-in-law was discharged from the hospital on the 19 August. I am grateful that during the my absence, my niece and nephews helped a lot. Without their generous help, the trip would not be possible.

I spoiled two cameras due to this trip. The first one is the Canon Digital Ixus 870 IS that I purchased on March, 2009. The camera dropped while I was shopping for the trip in Jusco. I was rushing because my mother-in-law was very weak at that time. We were about to send her to hospital.

I borrowed one from my brother Richard, and that one dropped while I was in Bangkok :-( Both of them were damaged after the drop. Perhaps it is time to buy a new oner.

Lastly, I would like to thank God for this wonderful trip :-)

Day +2643: Oversea Trip - Last dinner

We went for a dinner after visiting the Chao Anouvong Park. This was the last dinner for this trip :-)
