Day +2584 : Fourteen blood donation campaign (1)

I am fine today.

Our church held its fourteen blood donation campaign on Saturday, 13 July 2013.  I was attending a conference in the seminary on that day and thus unable to attend the campaign. I have to thank Pastor Tan for sending a batch of photos to me to be posted here. 

Our next blood donation campaign will on 21 December 2013. Please reserves this date in the calendar if you would like to participate in the next campaign. If you need more information or need me to remind you when the date approaches, do let me know :-)

96 donors managed to donate their blood successfully this time. With this campaign, our church successfully donated a total of 874 packs of blood since the first blood donation campaign on 19, September 2007 :-)

The result:

1. First campaign: 36 packs 
2. Second campaign: 34 packs 
3. Third campaign: 46 packs 
4. Fourth campaign: 47 packs 
5. Fifth campaign : 48 packs 
6. Sixth campaign: 42 packs 
7. Seventh campaign: 47 packs 
8. Eighth campaign: 66 packs 
9. Ninth campaign: 54 packs 
10. Tenth campaign: 69 packs
11. Eleventh campaign: 103 packs (highest)
12. Twelve campaign: 85 packs
13. Thirteen campaign: 101 packs
14. Fourteen campaign: 96 packs

Like previous donation campaign, my wife was unable to donate blood this time because she had to teach on that day due to schooling replacement.

Day +2583 : Packing McDonald Happy Meals for school children

I am fine today.

My wife is in charge of the choir of her school. The choir wont the second runner up during the inter-school choir competition. The school would like to reward each member of the choir a McDonald meal.

It is difficult for my wife who is teaching to purchase the meal. McDonald delivery is not an option as it didn't cater for promotional price offered from 12pm - 3pm. I volunteered to help her - buying and sending the meal to the school.

33 packs of happy meal - costing about RM6.3 each

Day +2582 : A Cempedak for the family

I am fine today.

I bought a Cempedak weighing 4kg for my family from the Kundang night market on Tuesday. I wish I could buy durian for them but there is no way to keep the durian overnight. Therefore, I can only settle on Cempedak.

Daniel helped to open the Cempedak. Though the seeds were not big, it tasted great :-)
