Day +2843 : Dinner with Vincent and Family

I am fine today.

Brother Vincent visited us with his family this weekend. He is from Hong Kong, and he served in Setia Christian Alliance Centre as missionary for one year before.

We had dinner together with some church committee members at Restoran Port Village (港村海鲜楼) in Klang this evening.

Day +2825 : Former seminary mates gathering

I a fine today.

Fourteen former seminary mates and their spouses gathered for the first time for lunch at Star Village Bandar Puchong Jaya last Friday. It was a casual gathering which didn't aim to achieve much other than eating and talking. I am in charge of booking the restaurant and I always believe Star Village is a good place for this kind of gathering both in term of environment and cost. Just for your information, the restaurant offer quite cheap set lunch - both western and eastern cuisine.

Day +2806 : Bidding Farewell to Pastor Kong

I am fine today.

Pastor Kong completed his one-month assignment here today. He went back to Hong Kong this morning. I sent him to KLIA as early as 6:00AM and after he checked in, we had a very good chat at Old Town White Coffee.

Pastor Kong had been working very hard for the whole month. I appreciate his help very much. I hope he will come again next year.

May God bless Pastor Kong!

Day +2789 : A lunch with Rev. Dr. Isaac Yim

I am fine today.

Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Isaac Yim and his wife Rosie hosted a steamboat lunch for a few pastors in his wife this afternoon. I was one of the lucky few to be invited for the lunch. Rev. Dr. Isaac is the director of Friends of Pastors International with its aim of helping pastors, especially those who are fresh like us :-)

Apart from serving us with a delicious steamboat lunch, Rev. Dr. Isaac also presented each of us with a set of two books (student and leader's guide) - One on One with God. He also shared with us some of his experience in pastoring the churches over the past.

I am grateful to get to know Rev. Dr. Isaac and I learned a lot from him today :-)

Rev. Dr. Isaac and his wife, Rosie, are on the right

Day +2587 : Bringing Linda and Jackie to MBS

I am fine today.

I brought two seminary students, Linda and Jackie, to MBS today. Two of them are from Taiwan. They are doing a 5-week internship in my church.

I would like them to experience the life of MBS. They will stay in the seminary for one night also.

Both of them were excited to see a campus so nice :-) I brought them to night market in the evening.
