My eldest sister came here for holiday together with my brother-in-law and Min Huang today. The other three children - Soon Hui, Min Hie, and Min Hui - are already staying here.
My brother-in-law is a retired Telekom engineer and my sister is a primary school teacher teaching in Kuching. Following today's Wesak holiday, her school will be closed for one week Dayak Gawai, and then followed by two weeks mid-year school holiday. She take the opportunity to visit her children and us here.
We went to Restoran Kepala Ikan Jalan Lima (陈秀莲鱼头) near Tesco for dinner.
A group photo - My sister's family and my wife. I was busy taking photo.

Dear David
Today's blog brings me a lot of memories of your eldest sister and her family.
In 1996, I sent my eldest daughter to her primary school and I got to know her. We talked in her school compound whenever we had chances.
In 1997 CNY, she told me your situation in KL...(the rest of the year's story, you know LAH.)
In 1998, she told me her eldest son was very fond of studying Physics and wished to excel in
this field.
In 1999 CNY, her whole family visited me new house. At that time, all the kids were quite small and very polite. They sat very patienly and listened quietly to our conversation.(In my mind, I admre her excellent family culture and discipline.)
2000 - 2005 We met occassionally in her primary school. We talked about you, the kids and our future.
2006 She told me your news.
2007 She recommended me to take prescription from GH to cut cost.
2008 - 2010 We meet occassionally in her school.
So, it is really good to have her as sister!!!
Wish her and her husband have good health and long life. Wish the children SUCCESS in studies and career.

Dear Seu Chuong,
Thanks for the history and I appreciate that. Getting to know you bringing me a good two years experience with Inti College Malaysia as a lecturer :-)
Yes, my eldest sister is a great sister. It is extremely difficult to find a sister like that :-)

Dear David,
I found your blog purely by accident while "Googling" the topic of "How soon can I swim after a bone marrow transplant?" and somehow I found your link. I believe it must be fate. I too was diagnosed with AML. I found out last July 27th (2009) and received a bone marrow transplant January 13th (2010), my day "zero". I am a 57 year old woman living in the United States, in Florida. I read one of your blogs, specifically day +237 which literally has brought tears to my eyes as I feel exactly as you do, that Jesus Christ has drawn me so much closer to Him with this diagnosis of leukemia than I would ever have received had it not been for AML. My life is wonderful in spite of the disease. I am about at day +137 now. I believe so strongly in my faith being my way through this. I have never felt such peace no matter the road ahead. I see by your picture that you are young and strong and happy. May we both thank the Lord our God for His blessings on you all these days...+1423 and beyond.
I am glad to have found you and will mail you again. Peace be with you.
Hi Michelle,
Let me talk to my friend first and let you know. He was diagnosed with AML and had done his transplant. He used to take Yan Tuo.
You can email me at david.healed at gmail dot com.

Dear friend in Florida,
Yes, our disease draw us nearer to Lord and in Him we have peace because our hope in Him is eternal :-)
Everyday we live is a gift from God and we thank God for every wonderful day.
We are counting the day that the Lord bless us and the counting is forever for once it stops here on this earth, it continues in heaven :-)
I am very glad to know you too. May the grace of our Lord be with you.
David
