I am fine today.
Chinese language doesn’t distinguish the difference between a mouse and a rat. If you check the dictionary, both of them are translated to 老鼠. Because of this, a lot of us don’t know their difference including me.
I trapped a rat, searched the internet, and came to an article that explained the difference as posted on Day +1395 : Catching rats – the catch , and only then I have an idea about their differences.
I wanted to check if Daniel knows about this. He was very confident that he knew it when I posted the question to him.
He said he knew one difference only.
“Mouse is spelled as ‘mouse’ and rat is spelled as ‘rat’, ” he answered. And after that, more differences were spotted, for example, mouse is a 5 letter word and rat is a 3 letter word, and so on.
No wonder I never see him study. He thinks that he knows everything already.
See you next :-)
