After having lunch at the Centre Point, KK, we visited Piliphino market at about 4:30pm. There were so many things to look at but we didn’t have much time. This is because we had to rush for a seafood dinner hosted by Mrs. Rev Lau’s eldest brother who is staying in KK.
We thought of having those barbecued seafood for dinner in the Philipino market but in the end we were treated with a very nice seafood meal in a restaurant :-)
Lobster - it cost RM75 each for the first 2 on the left, and the smaller one in the middle cost RM25
Some more fishes
This is really big!
Stalls that sell preserved seafood
Plenty of salted fish
Dried fish stomach
Sea cucumber - starting from about RM180 per kg but most of them in the range of RM300 to RM400
Dare to eat this one? Looks thorny
Fruit stalls

Dear David
I really like to visit the mango store and makan the mangoes. KK is my second home as I purchased a beachside studio apartment at Melingsung Resort, between Putatan and Papar. I prepare to spend 1 - 2 months each year there when I fuly retired. If your family want to go there again, you are invited to stay in my small apartment. My classmate will give you the key when you reach the airport. The place is quiet and the beach is 1(one) km long.
