I woke up at 4:30am in the morning and then started to pick up the rest at 5:00am before heading to LCCT. I parked my car at the LCCT car park which costs around RM36 per day. This is a lot cheaper than using taxi services especially when we need two taxis (6 of us) and have to pay 50% surcharges since we have to travel off the normal hours both ways.
We had checked in through the web a day earlier, so we have plenty of time to board the plane. As this is the first flight, it departed on time.
We reached KK Aiport Terminal 2 (T2) at about 9:30am. We booked our transport between KK and Pine Resort from a company called Kinabalu Transport which was introduced by Richard. The return journeys cost from agreed intial amoutn of RM360 to a final amount of RM450; the owner kept increasing the price :-( Anyway, it is still the cheapest as the rest could cost as much as RM600 for the same trip.
The driver picked us up for breakfast in the town before we were heading to Kendasang where the Pine Resort is located.
The driver recommended this restaurant
But we came to this one
Seafood Mee Hoon - very nice :-)
Laksa - not so nice. Puchong one is better
Stuffed bean curd
The fish for the Seafood Mee Hoon. The restaurant owner told us that it is "black fish"(黑鱼) but we still have no idea at all how it looks like. Anyway, it was very fresh.
To be continued and see you next post :-)
