I am fine today.
My mother-in-law celebrated her 76th birthday today. We had a celebration dinner at Cheong Wah Seafood Restaurant. Αpart from my immediate family members, two of my nephews - Heng Chiek and Heng Yew, and a seminary student, Anmy Lim, who is having her internship in my church, also joined the celebration.
May God bless my mother-in-law to be healthy and happy always!

Day +2087 : Dinner with my wife at Little Taiwan
I am fine today.
I had a dinner with my wife at Little Taiwan IOI mall this evening. The restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants. I like one of the signature dishes, the Treasures Beef Noodle, very much. I ordered it again this time but I forgot to take the photo. My wife ordered Special Stewed Rice Set. In addition to these, we also had Pan-fried Dumplings :-)
If you like beef noodle, you should give this restaurant a try.

Day +2086 : "Is it your imagination?"
I am fine today.
One night, while we were about to sleep, Adriel said that she hated the Bible college. This is because I had to go to the Bible college early next morning and stayed there for another three nights .
"Why do you have to go to Bible College?" she asked.
"God called me to study in the Bible College?" I answered.
"How God called you?" she asked.
"God talked to me in my heart," I tried to explain.
"I never hear God talk to me," she said, "is it your imagination?"
I didn't know how to answer, but she insisted to have a clear answer from me.
Finally, I spoke in "God's voice" to demonstrate to her how God spoke to me, "David, go to study in the Bible college and then become a pastor!" I tried, stretching my imagination to the limits, to make my voice sounded "as similar as" God's voice :-)
Realizing that it was a joke, the children laughed, and Aaron is the one who laughed most. In fact, I saw him rolling on the floor laughing :-)

Day +2085 : Oh my Innova!
I am fine today.
Someone borrowed my Innova in the seminary yesterday evening. For some unknown reasons, the car lose control in a corner and ran onto a divider on the roadside, sitting on it. A tow truck came and pulled out the car without permission, badly damaged the bottom of the car and tyres. Why the tow guy did this? The more damage he inflicted on the car, the more money the workshop is going to earn later :-(
The car was towed to a workshop in Rawang. Though the workshop is one of the panels of my insurance, I sent the car to Toyota service center as I could not trust the workshop at all. The way they towed the car sent me a very clear signal that the workshop would do anything to earn money. I was told that Toyota service center will take a longer time to repair the car, but I am willing to wait.
I have to thank God that no one was injured in this incident.

Day +2084 : Not Chikugunya
I am fine today.
I sat for the Systematic Theology II test this morning. Though I have confident to answer all the questions, I missed out one question that cost me 17 marks :-( The lecturer is not sure if I know the answer since I didn't answer, therefore she will not give me marks. God know very sure that I know the answer, and He will give me mark in heaven. Frankly speaking, I have no regret on this, for I didn't study for marks, but to fulfill my responsibility as a student :-)
I went to UH together with a lecturer and a few other students to see doctor and have another round of blood test. The doctor told me that what plagues us in the past few weeks is not due to Chikugunya but some unknown virus and bacteria. Though they have some candidate causes derived from the result of a few biopsies, but they are unable to confirm so far.
The search continue...

Day +2083 : Preparing for a test tomorrow
I am fine today.
I will be sitting for the first test of Systematic Theology II tomorrow morning. The test is supposed to be held in the afternoon, but due to the fact that I have to go do UH for a blood test, I have to do it test earlier.
I thank God that I am feeling a lot better today. This allows me to focus on my study for a few hours, something which is impossible for the past few days. I am lacking of time to be well prepared for the test this time. However, I have not much regret about this.
Rev. Raymond Suen always advised me "good enough" is sufficient, and now I have to learn - "good enough is more than enough, perfect is too much" :-)

Day +2081 : A cell group potluck dinner
I am fine today.
We had a combined cell group potluck dinner with Rev. Suen and Mrs. Rev. Suen at Richard's house this evening. About 40 children and adult attended the event. Many home cooked dishes were served but for the first time, I don't feel like to eat in a potluck - the side effect of the Chikugunya :-( However, I believe the dishes must be delicious to others.
